The Lower Leg
To massage the legs, you will need to stand balanced at the end of the table. The lower leg can best be worked on with fingers or palms. Before working on the lower leg, do one long stroke to connect the work you completed on the foot to the work you’re about to do on the legs.
1 The calves have a two-headed muscle that has a clear split in the center. Define each head of it with your fingers, pressing lightly in the center where the two meet.
2 Work along the grain of the muscle with your fingertips and then your palms.
